Professional sound engineer and producer. My name is MarcoAntonio and I was born in Rome, Italy. Class of 1979. After graduating in electronics engineering in Rome, I moved in 2007 to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where I got a diploma in audio engineering at the SAE institute. Right after the diploma I started working for the same institute and soon became head lecturer for the electronic music production course (EMP). I spent the following years teaching and growing my technical skills in the studio and on stage. Nowadays I am a full time producer and audio engineer in mixing, mastering, post production and sound design for picture. I work for several clients worldwide, I occasionally play live gigs as MaSpaventi and I offer workshops for Ableton and lessons for various schools and institutes in NL, including the world famous Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam. Currently I live in beautiful Barcelona, Spain, where I unified my production and mastering studio in one room. The studio is located in the vibrant PobleNou neighborhood, 5 minutes from the seaside.  The sound is provided by high definition and fantastic sounding Kii Speakers, complemented with the BXT extensions for a full range system. I work everyday with top gear, the best in both the analogue and digital world. Given my background as a musician, I also collected among the best in vintage and modern synthesizers and drum machines, a Fender Rhodes , Solina Strings, countless outboard and pedal effects.
